Quote:A U.S. congressman from Texas introduced a bill Thursday called the Chris Kyle Medal of Honor Act.
Kyle, who served four tours in Iraq, is credited with the most confirmed kills of any sniper in U.S. military history.
The bill, from Republican Roger Williams of Cleburne, would authorize the president to award the Medal of Honor posthumously to Kyle for his acts of valor during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Kyle's wife, Taya, responded to the Medal of Honor proposal by sending a statement to FOX 4, which says, "It is a tremendous honor for Chris. He would be humble and tell you there were other heroes who deserved it more than he did. He would also say that his fighting and his life were never about the medals.
I feel Chris is still serving. I consistently hear about how his life is impacting others in a positive way.
The Congressional Medal of Honor is a tremendous blessing and tribute to a life well lived. Chris will be in wonderful company with other Medal of Honor recipients, just as he was on the battlefield with all our veteran heroes.
I know this would leave him feeling grateful, humble, honored, probably speechless and full of love for the country he loves so much. Thank you to everyone who made this possible."
Tuesday night, an Erath County jury convicted Eddie Ray Routh of murdering Kyle and Kyle's friend, Chad Littlefield, at a shooting range. Routh was sentenced to life in prison.
The guy may have been awesome, but awesome doesn't and never should net you a MoH, ever. I can't stand that so many people are behind this bullshit and actively pushing for it.
Yep. I lost on the very first post. Fuck.
It's not surprising that so many people are backing him, especially with the movie. A lot of people outside of the military don't understand that the MoH is awarded to people who take actions that are of extreme risk to their lives.

Don't worry Mick you're not the only one to lose on this... it's super recockulous

That's the thing. Kyles accomplishments on the battlefield are legendary, there's no doubt. It was a cumulative effort though, and I'm not aware of one single act of supreme bravery on his part that would warrant a MOH.  I don't want to minimize his efforts to save jarhead lives, but I think he would agree that he doesn't rate the big medal.

Hey bud still missing your legs? Oh alright, just checking.
Contrast that with the scumbag "gulf war vet" in the town I police who got a mobility scooter from the VA even though he's in no way disabled. Motherfucker sells it, takes the cash, then reports it stolen. We track it down, find out it was sold, build a case, and charge the guy with theft of services and fraud. Fucking VA refuses to prosecute the guy, we loose our case, then they fucking GIVE this piece of shit another scooter to replace the one that was "stolen" (that he sold to make money on). THEN, the fucking guy has the balls to sue our department for wrongful prosecution and "harassment". Rage all day long. I'm ashamed that this guy served in the same Marine Corps that I did, even if he was only in long enough to get that disability, yo.

I lost on scumbag scooter vet.
Handi, so did I. To this day this piece of shit lives in town and drives a Durango with moto stickers all over it. Every time I see him I have to resist the urge to call him out and beat his ass one Marine to another. I don't know the details of his service, but if the amount of stickers and other moto gear are any indication (coupled with his shitbag performance over the scooter, along with other issues we've had to deal with him on) I would be willing to bet that he got out prior to his 4 years being up on some sort of punk ass bullshit med claim or something.

I agree. I think the MoH would be cheapened because it would look like it's being given out only due to his fame and not for any particular action that was deemed MoH-worthy.
People need to get off Kyle's overhyped dick already. Lost.

Well, you *could* just *accidentally* run him over with a squad car...
There you are. I missed you, you old fart.

http://www.wxyz.com/news/judge-says-man-must-pay-30k-in-child-support-for-kid-who-is-not-his

Dude is made to 30k because he did not file a motion to set aside his alleged paternity.
“I am outraged that Mr. Alexander for two and a half decades failed to take this matter seriously,” said Judge Kathleen McCarthy.
So, now the dude has to cough up money he may never have,
"Carnell Alexander says there is a good reason for him not filing that motion. For one, he says when he learned he was allegedly a father, he had just gotten out of prison. He had no income and no savings. He has an eighth grade education. He could not find a lawyer to help him. He was on his own. He says while he may not have filed a certain motion required by the bureaucratic court system, he did make sure Friend of the Court workers and judges on the case knew he was not this child’s father, had never been in the child’s life, and didn’t want to be held responsible."

Absolutely ridiculous. This judge is a fucking retard.

There's your reason for this whole bullshit.

I don't even understand...have we created a technology where we can just regrow limbs now? Are they worried Mr. Incredible is going to be stealing a prosthetic? What is this Harry Potter business...
Well next time one of them comes in looking like Captain Hook there's going to be hell to pay.
Fuck Comiefornia and the white liberal kids that go to school there. I'm sure if they have such a problem with America we could pull all of the federal aid they are sponging up. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/03/06/students-at-uc-irvine-vote-to-ban-american-flag/
why are people so retarded.
They aren't retarded dude, they're enlightened and forward thinking. We are the ones who are retarded. If we were smart like those kids we would "get it".

Im glad I never went to college...

College doesn't breed retards, retards just become more obnoxious when allowed to flourish with other retards. College was the tits.

I would go straight to those girls' house, and beat the piss out of their mom.
This is bullshit.
Instant rage.

A group of kids and a pre-teen bully a three year old girl and make her cry at least twice on camera. The cameraman (a 12 year old boy) brags on Facebook and titled his video "When white people piss black people off."
